Ushnevych Solomiia Eduardivna – PhD in Philology, Associate Professor of the Department of Primary Education and Educational Innovations. She was born in Morshyn, Lviv region. In 1999, she graduated from the Faculty of Philology of the V. Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. She worked as a teacher of Ukrainian language and literature at a secondary school in Morshyn. In 2000-2003, she worked at the Scientific Library of the V. Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. In 2003-2006 she studied at the postgraduate program of the same university. Since 2007 – Assistant, Lecturer, Associate Professor of the Department of Philology and Methods of Primary Education. 2016 -2023 – worked at the Department of Professional Methods and Technologies of Primary Education. Since 2024 – Associate Professor of the Department of Primary Education and Educational Innovations.
In 2009, under the supervision of Doctor of Philosophy, Professor S. Khorob, she defended her PhD thesis on “Novels by Viktor Domontovych in the Context of Ukrainian Intellectual and Psychological Prose: Peculiarities of Artistic Thinking” (10.01.01 – Ukrainian Literature). The dissertation is aimed at studying the author’s philosophical and aesthetic concept as a basis for artistic modeling of reality.
In 2015, she received the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Philology and Methods of Primary Education.
In 2023 she graduated from the Mykhailo Drahomanov Ukrainian State University. The educational program “Primary Education” is accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, she received a master’s degree in the field of knowledge Education / Pedagogy. Specialty “Primary Education”. Professional qualification.
Co-author (with Prof. Derkachova O. S.) of the textbooks “Literary Fairy Tale of Great Britain” (2012), “Literary Fairy Tale of Germany and Austria” (2013), “Literary Fairy Tale of Poland” (2014), the book “The Real Stus in Test Questions and Answers” (2017), the textbook “Literature and Inclusion” (2020), “Modern English Literature: Workbook” (2021). She is a co-author of collective monographs: “Formation of the Linguistic Personality of a Primary School Student” (2018), ‘Stefanyk in Test Questions and Answers’ (2021). Author of the monograph “Intellectual and Psychological Prose by Viktor Domontovych: Text and Context” (2018).
She is the author of scientific research on the contextual understanding of the history of Ukrainian and foreign literature of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, the problems of synthesis of the author’s artistic thinking.
