In 1997 accomplished Candidate Degree Theses (PhD) on the theme “Pedagogical Preconditions of the economic culture education of the junior pupils”, specialty 13.00.04 – Theory and History of Pedagogy.

In 2001 got academic status of Senior Scientific Worker on the speciality 13.00.07 – Theory and Methods of education.

Since 1994 till 2012 worked for the Scientific and Methodical center “Ukrainian ethnopedagogy and folk knowledge” of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine and Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University on the positions of senior laboratory assistant, senior scientific assistant, leading scientific assistant.

Since 1999 has worked (part-time) on the position of Assistant Professor of Various Chairs of Pedagogical Institute of State Higher Educational Institution “Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University”.

Since 2013 has been an assistant professor of the Chair of Theory and Methods of Primary Education of State Higher Educational Institution “Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University”.

In 2015 successfully defended Doctoral Degree Theses (EdD) on the theme “Theoretical and methodical foundations for training primary school teachers to social and educational activities”, speciality 13.00.04 – Theory and Methods of Professional Education and became the Professor of the Chair.

During 2015-2017 worked as the Head of the Department of Primary Education Pedagogy. In 2018 was honoured the title of Professor of the Department of Pedagogy of Primary Education, in 2023 – Professor of the Department of Primary Education.

During 2016-2019 has been working as a member of the Scientific and Methodological Commission of the Higher Education Sector of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, specialty 013 Elementary Education on development of Standards of Higher Education of the Bachelor and Master degree.

In 2019 – Director of the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies “PNU EcoSystem” (https://ciot.pnu.edu.ua/en/history/), Trainer of the New Ukrainian School.

Head of the research work “Teacher Professional Training: Social and Pedagogical Context” (0117U003281) (2017-2027).

The author of more than 350 scientific publications among them 2 monographs and 13 educational and methodical manuals, co-author of 28 group books; author of articles in foreign scientific editions, including those indexed in Scopus and Web of Science databases.

The most important books are: “Ethnoeconomic competence of a student” (2008), “Ethno-pedagogical component of the process of formation of competences of Primary School students” (2009, editing), “Socio-pedagogical activity of a Primary School teacher” (2012), “Professional training of future Primary School teachers for social and pedagogical activities: theory and practice” (2014), “Inclusive Education” (2015), “Comparative Pedagogy” (2019), “Pedagogical support of Inclusive Education” (2019), “Communicative Pedagogy” (2019), “Digital Education” (2021), “Methods of e-learning in Primary School” (2021), etc.

Participation in the examination of textbooks for the New Ukrainian School (by the commission for the selection of experts for the examination of electronic versions of draft textbooks (protocol No. 2 dated April 16, 2018). Participation in the meetings of the competition commissions for the competitive selection of textbook projects for the 2nd grade of general secondary education institutions (the composition of the competition commissions was approved by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated December 11, 2018 No. 1372). – 12.02.2019 (State scientific institution “Institute of Modernization of the Content of Education”).

Realizes scientific cooperation with specialty chairs of Ukrainian Institutes and Universities as well as Scientific Institutions of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine: Lesia Ukrainka East-Ukrainian National University, V. Korolenko Poltava National Pedagogical University, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Bogdan Khmelnytsky Cherkasy National University, Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky State Pedagogical University named after Grygory Skovoroda, etc.

She underwent training on the educational program “Preparing Trainers for Teachers of the New Ukrainian Schools” (2018). Participated in the textbook examination for the New Ukrainian School (2018-2019).

 Supervising of scientific works

Was a scientific supervisor of Kateryna Romaniuk’s Candidate degree theses “Pedagogical preconditions of tolerance education of preschool children”, speciality 13.00.08 – Preschool Pedagogy (2014, Southern Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushinsky, Odesa).

Svitlana Smolyuk “Organizational and pedagogical conditions of developmental educational environment in the system of primary education of Ukraine (end of XX – beginning of XXI century)”, specialty 13.00.01 – General Pedagogy and History of Pedagogy (2017, East European National University named after Lesya Ukrainka, Lutsk).

Leader of the university academic group of the international project ERASMUS + “MoPED – Modernization of higher pedagogical education with the use of innovative teaching tools”, № 586098-EPP-1-2017-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP (2017-2021).

Co-coordinator of the Ukrainian-Polish student exchange project “Culture, history, traditions: in search of common values” under the patronage of Polsko-Ukrainskej Rady Wymiany Mlodziezy (FRSE) (September-November, 2016) – Chelm (Republic of Poland) – Ivano-Frankivsk (Ukraine); co-organizer of International Conferences, including in the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Lithuania. Coordinator of scientific cooperation of the Faculty of Education with the Institute of Pedagogy of Jagiellonian University (Krakow, Poland).

Invited Professor as part of the project “Integrated Development Programme of the University of Silesia in Katowice” (Republic of Poland, 2022).

She completed her scientific training at the University of East Tennessee (2014, Johnson City, West Virginia, USA), where she studied the teaching experience of high school educators in terms of multiculturalism. She has completed scientific trainings at the State Higher Vocational School in Chelm (Poland, 2016) and advanced training at Deusto University (Spain, 2018), University of Cyprus (Republic of Cyprus, 2018), Krakow Mining and Metallurgy Academy (Republic of Poland, 2018).

International internship (6.0 ECTS) on the topic: “Development of innovative competence of a modern teacher” (Center for Modern Education SCHOLAR, Poland, 2022).

International internship at the Institute of Pedagogy of the University of Silesia (1.0 ECTS) on the topic “E-learning & Inclusive Education” (Republic of Poland, 2022).

Participation in the Grant Program of the Kosciuszko Foundation on the topic “Preparing future teachers to work with students affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine” together with the department of the Institute of Pedagogy of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Poland, 2022).

Participation in the project “Integrated Development Programme of the University of Silesia in Katowice (on the basis of the Institute of Pedagogy, University of Silesia, Poland, 2022).

Organizer of educational trainings, advanced training courses for pedagogical staff of pre-school, general secondary and extracurricular educational establishments, as well as university educators.
